OPEN CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING

Our cross country course has over 75 jumps
ranging to very small logs, ditches and other jumps suitable for early stage
cross country training of the horse and rider, to a few Preliminary jumps. Most
jumps are Beginner Novice, Novice or Training level. It is designed in the
traditional style with woods, terrain and footing variations. Please see the
Photo Gallery to get an idea of the course. We also have a very easy-to-use
circular parking area for horse trailers up to 40’ in length, which eliminates
the need for backing up.
Cross country schooling at Triple Creek Farm
is offered on designated open schooling days listed on the Calendar. We also can
schedule an x-c schooling by pre-arranged appointment on other than designated
schooling days, weather and schedule permitting. Please contact us for available
start times.
Cross country schooling is available to
groups of between 2 and 4 riders at a cost of $35 per rider for a two hour
schooling session. The cost
for individual riders schooling alone is $50.
Price includes use of outdoor arena for warm up,
and water for a bath. All x-c schooling riders are accompanied by supervising
rider from the farm. A ground person is not required. Schooling riders must
provide a negative Coggins, signed liability waivers (by parents for minors),
and must wear appropriate protective gear. We require that all instructors
provide us with a suitable additionally insured insurance certificate. Schooling
date reservation fee of $50 per group is required to hold a date/time, and is
non-refundable except when weather conditions require rescheduling.
